The family piano, with its carvings by their grandfather, means remembering the past to Berniece.  To her brother, Boy Willie, it may mean a future.  Like all families, the conflict between our pasts and our futures, our "what was" and our "ought to be's" is the stuff of all our lives.  This Pulitzer Prize winner brings back Jernard Burks (Starsky & Hutch, Bringing Down the House, and Devil in a Blue Dress) to the Salina stage as Boy Willie.
