It seems Fat Sam, who runs one of the most popular speakeasies in town, is in danger of being closed down by his "business rival" Dandy Dan.  Enter Bugsy Malone, a dashing ladies man and a definite asset to Fat Sam.  In this non-violent, pinstripe-wearing, musical spoof, adapted from the 1970's film, a cast of young actors portrays Prohibition-era mobsters in a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the 1920's gangster flick.
