Les is originally from Salina, Kansas and a graduate of Kansas State University. He is a highly sought after solo performer and performs his one-man show all over the world on cruise ships, in resorts and at concert venues. Heavily influenced by some of the world’s legendary swing/jazz vocalists including Mel Torme’, Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr. and of course Frank Sinatra, last fall Les starred in the sold out show The Tribute to Frank, Joey, Sammy and Dean –The Rat Pack in Las Vegas, Nevada as FRANK. He got his start in theatre in Kansas City, Missouri and continued it in and around New York City. For two years Les was involved in one way or another with the hit musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, starring as THE PHARAOH at the Fireside Theatre in Wisconsin as well as the national touring company of Joseph…Dreamcoat. He also starred in New York as another pharaoh in the Off-Broadway musical Moses, My Love. Les has appeared in various film and television projects including Law & Order, The Rear Window (starring the late Christopher Reeve) and In & Out (starring Kevin Kline). But his favorite on camera experience has to be working alongside Robert Redford and James Gandolfini as Redford’s bodyguard in the Dreamworks film The Last Castle.

Next year Les will once again appear in Salina headlining with the Salina Symphony at the newly restored Watson Steifel Center for the Performing Arts. In addition next year he will also headline w/ Guy Lombardo and the Royal Canadians for a West Coast Tour. Les has had the good fortune to be surrounded by a performing family his entire life and as always dedicates his performance to them.
