Georges and Albin run a nightclub.  They also have a son who wants to marry the daughter of a very conservative politician.  There are, however, a few problems.  The night club, called "La Cage Aux Folles" (remember the Robin Williams movie The Birdcage?), has beautiful dancers, most of whom aren't girls.  And Georges and Albin aren't married because...well...they're men.  And guess who's coming to dinner?  The future in-laws!  Imagine all that fun and great music and dance too.
